During the first term we learned how to recognize the numbers 1, 2, 3 & 4 & their value as well. We also learned how we should write the number by feeling it on corrugated paper & sand paper. Then we wrote the number with our finger in rice & with a paintbrush with water in the yard. That way we learned how to write numbers without using pencils or crayons so that next year we will find it easier to catch up in Year 1.
These are the numbers made on sand paper & corrugated paper for us to feel their texture with our finger so that we can learn how to write them.
